The following new members have been appointed to serve on the National Alumni Board of Directors for terms commencing July 1:
Louis Berroteran, ’83, of Silver Lake, Ohio, is the president and managing member of The Berroteran Group, LLC. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from ¾ÛÉ«¸ó in 1983.
David Dees, Ph.D. ’00, of Lisbon, Ohio, has been appointed the faculty representative. David is an associate professor of Cultural Foundations at ¾ÛÉ«¸ó. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in cultural foundations in 2000 from ¾ÛÉ«¸ó.
Jordyn Kovolyan, ’14, M.B.A. ’20, of Lakewood, Ohio, is the senior manager of business development for the Cleveland Cavaliers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in educational studies and a Master of Business Administration from ¾ÛÉ«¸ó in 2014 and 2020, respectively.
Nancy Murphy, ’80, of Perryville, Maryland, served in the U.S. Army as a military intelligence and field artillery officer and retired as an elementary school educator with more than 20 years of service. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in art history from ¾ÛÉ«¸ó in 1980.
Stephanie Sweany, ’05, of Canton, Ohio, is the executive director of the Stark County Hunger Task Force. She earned her Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies from ¾ÛÉ«¸ó in 2005.
