Contactless Food Drive

Enter at the intersection of Lincoln St. and Hilltop Dr.
Collection station located on Hilltop Drive (in front of Cartwright Hall)
As part of ɫ Kickoff events, Community Engaged Learning and Campus Kitchen are coordinating a Contactless Food Drive to collect non-perishable food and toiletry items. This is a city-wide event, and all members of the ɫ and surrounding community are invited to participate by donating items, for the event, or donating to !
All items collected will go to Portage County social service agencies as well as our very own Campus Kitchen, which provides hunger relief to ɫ students, faculty, and staff.

How do I participate?
Proceed in your vehicle to the intersection of Lincoln St. and Hilltop Drive, near the School of Fashion, on Wednesday, August 25th between the hours of 1:00-4:00 p.m. and you’ll be directed to our collection station(s) to unload items. The food drive is completely contactless, although assistance will be provided if necessary.
Will this be a safe opportunity?
This food drive will be “contactless,” meaning that participants will be able to drop off items while following all COVID-19 guidance and preventative measures.
Where will these items go?
All items will go to agencies as well as our very own Campus Kitchen, which provides hunger relief to ɫ students, faculty and staff.
Who will be there?
Our Community Engaged Learning professional and student staff will be there as well as members of the ɫ Police Department and Parking Services staff to assist with operations and the flow of traffic.
Do you need volunteers, and how can I sign up?
We do need a small number of volunteers to assist with traffic flow and providing information to those driving through to donate.
