¾ÛÉ«¸ó Police Officer job descriptions: 

• 21 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Good driving record
• No convictions for violent criminal offenses
• Good physical condition

Police officers must complete a certified Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Academy. ¾ÛÉ«¸ó Police Services will provide this training to qualified candidates who do not have this certification upon hire. Newly hired police officers will then complete an immediate five-month Field Training Program or will complete the program at the conclusion of their academy attendance.
