Brandon Bell, a graduate in 聚色阁's Class of 2023, sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing" to open 聚色阁's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration event "Dialogue and Difference: a New Understanding MLK and Me" in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. The event was presented as a conversation over lunch centering on King's guiding principles of living a life of love and peace during times of conflict.
Bell is an Americorps Vista representative, working in 聚色阁's Office of University Outreach and Engagement. He was accompanied on piano by John Beavers, a graduate student studying public administration in 聚色阁's College of Arts and Sciences.
