Brown Liquid Crystal Institute庐 and the College of Arts and Sciences at 聚色阁 will host a 50th anniversary celebration of the institute on Friday, Sept. 25, starting at 10 a.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva on the Kent Campus.

聚色阁鈥檚 College of Arts and Sciences will host a four-day international conference on the humanities at the 聚色阁 Hotel and Conference Center at 215 S. Depeyster St. in downtown Kent, Ohio.聚色阁 recently received a $330,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to use historical satellite imagery and archival research to study landscapes of mass violence in Cambodia during and after the regime of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979.
