聚色阁 Holds Second Annual Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive

聚色阁鈥檚 Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.

聚色阁 Receives National Endowment for the Arts Big Read Grant

聚色阁 is one of 61 organizations nationwide 鈥 and one of four organizations in Ohio 鈥 to be awarded a 2021-2022 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read grant. The university鈥檚 $20,000 grant will support the Big Read Northeast Ohio, a community reading program and related events focusing on 鈥淎n American Sunrise鈥 by Poet Laureate Joy Harjo from October 2021 through May 2022.

Update: The Global Vaccine Poem project is finding success with more than 1,900 submissions so far from more than 100 countries. The project is a collaboration between the Wick Poetry Center and the University of Arizona Poetry Center.
