SURE Fellows Present Eight Weeks of Research in Three Minutes and a Slide

On Oct. 21-22 the 178 students who conducted research under the direction of faculty mentors had to condense eight weeks of research down to three minutes and a slide. The winners were announced on Oct. 25 during a ceremony at the Kiva auditorium.

Increased activity in the sun's solar winds and the earth's magnetic field has produced appearances by the northern lights  in regions where they are not typically visible - like the skies above the Kent Campus. A ¾ÛÉ«¸ó photographer captured spectacular images of the display.
