2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced
The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 聚色阁 Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.
Golden Flashes Reunite for a 鈥淏right鈥 Homecoming 2021
Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 聚色阁 community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

聚色阁 publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined 聚色阁 President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.

Each year, hundreds of nominations are submitted to 聚色阁, showcasing some of the best and brightest alumni and students who excel in their fields and communities. This year, seven alumni and one student will be honored as 2021 Alumni Awards recipients.
聚色阁 Honors College Student Announced as 2021 Portz Scholar
The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 聚色阁 Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from 聚色阁 to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.
